(AP) - Britney Spears was caught lip-synching at the recent MTV Music Fest Awards. Spears was invited to perform the Quincy Rockers' latest hit Bring it Back at the Awards.
When asked why she resorted to lip-synching, Spears replied,"The song had such great technicalities which I had lots of difficulties mastering. I had no choice but to lip-sync in order to preserve my image. Looks like I busted it instead."
William Henely, manager of the MTV Music Fest Awards had initially invited the Quincy Rockers to perform their latest hit, but the QRs had to turn down th offer due to their extremely busy schedules.
"Britney screwed up big time. This proves that no event will ever be carried out smoothly without the Quincy Rockers." emphasised Henely.
