(JAPAN, Tokyo) - Live Earth Founder and Producer Kevin Wall announced in Tokyo today that World's most famous band, THE QUINCY ROCKERS, will be included in the artist lineup for Live Earth Japan, a concert to combat global warming. Makuhari Messe in Tokyo will host a daylong official Live Earth concert.
Said Wall, "The Quincy Rockers are such a great infuence on the global human population, that we definitely need to have them in our concert. We're extremely confident that this exclusive performance by the band would result in the entire world tuning in to watch the concert on TV."
Tickets for Live Earth Tokyo at Makuhari Messe have been on sale since June 9.
The Quincy Rockers will play a fundamental role in the Live Earth Concert, as they will be reciting the Live Earth Pledge for the rest of the World. Fans of the Quincy Rockers, which means the entire human population on earth, are encouraged to memorise this Live Earth Pledge to show their support for the Quincy Rockers.
I PLEDGE:
To demand that my country join an international treaty within the next 2 years that cuts global warming pollution by 90% in developed countries and by more than half worldwide in time for the next generation to inherit a healthy earth;
To take personal action to help solve the climate crisis by reducing my own CO2 pollution as much as I can and offsetting the rest to become “carbon neutral;”
To fight for a moratorium on the construction of any new generating facility that burns coal without the capacity to safely trap and store the CO2;
To work for a dramatic increase in the energy efficiency of my home, workplace, school, place of worship, and means of transportation;
To fight for laws and policies that expand the use of renewable energy sources and reduce dependence on oil and coal;
To plant new trees and to join with others in preserving and protecting forests; and,
To buy from businesses and support leaders who share my commitment to solving the climate crisis and building a sustainable, just, and prosperous world for the 21st century.
The Quincy Rockers also encourages all ticket buyers to use public transportation to get to the venue, in order to help save the Earth by preventing Global Warming.
